The 16th Annual Meeting of the DEGUZ (German Society for Environmental Dentistry) took place in Leipzig on May 9 and 10, 2025. It was a special event, as the DEGUZ also celebrated 20 years of Environmental Dentistry.

SAREMCO Dental was there and looks back on two exciting days full of expert discussions and appreciative exchanges.

Between progress and experience, the annual theme was "Environmental Dentistry: Balancing High-Tech and Experience-Based Dentistry."

Our contribution: Focusing on biocompatible materials, we presented our SAREMCO Dental biocompatible restorative materials apt® advanced polymer technology composite flow and unibond on natural wood at our booth to emphasize the connection to the environment and naturalness. Many visitors were particularly interested in the use of our materials in sensitive or systemically challenged patients. The discussions clearly showed that for many, biocompatibility is no longer just an add-on, but a basic requirement.

The lecture program offered a wide range of insights:

The influence of diet and exercise on the immune system and muscles

Connections between malocclusion and orthopedic problems

Innovations such as phage therapy, titanium stimulation for peri-implantitis, and the use of 3D printing in prosthetics
