Chairside Fabrication in Daily Practice

In practice, what is technically possible is not the only thing that matters. The decisive question is whether a digital workflow fits into existing spaces, processes, and teams. Ceramix-Nano combines printing and post-curing in a compact system approach — so chairside fabrication does not become an additional equipment project.

Less Equipment Setup

Printing and post-curing are integrated into the Ceramix-Nano system, eliminating the need for a separate curing unit.

Greater Clinical Practicality

The compact design simplifies integration into existing practice environments and lowers the barrier to chairside-oriented workflows.

Clear and Clean Workflow for the Team

Cartridge, printing, cleaning, and post-curing follow a logical and traceable workflow, supporting teams implementing digital manufacturing in a structured manner.

From Scan to Final Restoration

CROWNTEC within the Ceramix-Nano workflow combines digital planning, clean 3D printing, and post-processing in a compact chairside workflow. The printing time for a single crown is approximately 10 minutes, with post-curing performed within the system.

Post-curing time ~3 minutes
01

Scanning & Designing

The case is captured digitally, the restoration is designed with AI support and then transferred to the printer. Everything is designed to be user-friendly.

02

Printing

Insert the CROWNTEC cartridge, start the print job, and remove the restoration after approximately 10 minutes.

03

Finalizing

After printing, post-processing, integrated post-curing within the Ceramix-Nano system, and preparation for placement are carried out.

Material Foundation

Scientifically Validated

saremco print CROWNTEC forms the material foundation of the clinical cartridge workflow. As a CE-marked and FDA-cleared medical device for permanent dental restorations, CROWNTEC combines regulatory compliance, scientific documentation, and SAREMCO's material expertise.

CE-Marked and FDA-Cleared

saremco print CROWNTEC is a CE-marked and FDA-cleared Class II/IIa medical device for permanent dental restorations.

Scientifically Documented

CROWNTEC is scientifically documented as a material for digital restorative workflows and is referenced hundreds of times in databases such as PubMed and Google Scholar.

Latest Workflow Version

For this project, CROWNTEC is used in its latest version optimized for the cartridge workflow.

Material System

The Cleaner Path to Chairside Restorations.

Many practices recognize the potential of dental 3D printing, but not every practice wants to begin with open resin vats, larger material volumes, and complex handling procedures. The Ceramix-Nano workflow with saremco print CROWNTEC therefore relies on a guided cartridge concept: compact, controlled, and tailored to everyday clinical practice.

Material Foundation for Permanent Restorations

CROWNTEC is intended for permanent dental restorations, including molar crowns, anterior crowns, inlays, onlays, and no-prep or prep veneers.

Cartridge Instead of an Open Resin Vat

The cartridge reduces direct handling of liquid material and feeds CROWNTEC into the printing process in a controlled manner. This creates a cleaner, more traceable workflow without permanently open and odor-emitting resin vats.

Handling

Less open material handling

The cartridge logic reduces open handling of liquid printing resin and supports a clearly guided clinical process.

System

No resin vat in the drawer

Material does not have to be kept as a larger residual quantity in an openly filled resin vat when no printing is taking place.

Getting started

For practices that want a clean start

The guided cartridge workflow lowers the entry barrier for teams that want to integrate chairside 3D printing into their practice in a structured way.

Applications

Established indications. New chairside workflow.

SINGLE CROWN

The single crown is a central application in the clinical cartridge workflow. The focus is on structured processing for permanent restorative care.
  • Anterior crowns
  • Molar crowns

UP TO 3 CROWNS PER CARTRIDGE

Depending on the case and geometry, up to three crowns can be fabricated with one cartridge. This supports a compact and economical chairside workflow.
  • Up to 3 single crowns
  • Efficient material use
  • Suitable for compact print jobs

Inlays & onlays

The cartridge workflow supports defined partial restorations such as inlays and onlays within a structured digital processing workflow.
  • Inlays
  • Onlays
  • Partial restorations

Veneers

For esthetic restorative applications, veneer indications can be processed in the cartridge workflow.
  • No-prep veneers
  • Prepped veneers

Temporary 3-unit bridges

The cartridge workflow also supports temporary 3-unit bridges.
  • Temporary 3-unit bridges
  • Multi-unit restoration
